Background:
Kimberly is eager to help folks solve problems. She aims to build a practice servicing clients in the fields of entertainment, intellectual property, privacy, cybersecurity, corporate/commercial, and business. With prior experience as a full-stack software engineer, copywriter and marketer, photographer, and background actor, Kimberly’s diverse range of experiences inform her perspective.
In 2024/2025, she had the pleasure of being an initio Research Assistant, and, in Summer 2025, she focused primarily on entertainment and intellectual property law as the recipient of the Roman Elster Internship in Intellectual Property and Innovation. Kimberly implements the skills gained in these roles to service clients at initio as a Senior Law Student in Fall 2025.
Kimberly strongly believes in access to justice and public service; her roles at the law school include, but are not limited to, the Co-Editor in Chief of The Weldon Times, Co-President of Schulich Law and Technology Society, Vice Chair for the Dalhousie Feminist Legal Association, and a volunteer with the Pro Bono Dalhousie x McCarthy Tétrault’s Non-Profit Privacy Compliance Clinic. In the local arts community, Kimberly has volunteered with the Atlantic International Film Festival in theatre management and social media since 2015.
In her spare time, Kimberly loves jamming at karaoke, watching movies, playing video games, attending weekly trivia with friends, and going on long walks through the city with her camera.
