Background:
With her prior experience in the social work and mental health services fields, Celeste is looking forward to assisting and empowering individuals and professionals in their entrepreneurial ventures while maintaining strong adherence to professional regulatory standards and ethical practice.
Celeste has a keen interest in intersection of health law, business law, and privacy rights, the intersection of health and disability justice, elder law, tax law, and tort law. As a first-generation immigrant settler and having work experience as a registered social worker both in public interest and private practice settings, Celeste maintains a strong commitment to access to justice and a trauma-informed approach to practice.
Celeste holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia.
In 2024, Celeste worked as a summer law student researcher at the British Columbia Law Institute where she led the drafting of the Guide to Trauma-Informed Legal Writing and facilitated public legal information sessions to promote the Dementia and Decision-Making Project resources. In 2025, she worked as a summer student at a full-service law firm in Vancouver, BC.
In her spare time, Celeste enjoys random karaoke sessions and boodle fights with her family.
